As the end of the international off-road racing season approaches, the schedule for the upcoming new year takes shape. The FIM and FMI set for Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of February the dates for the 32nd edition of the Airoh Starcross, one of the most popular and spectacular contest in Europe, in which all the axes of motocross of the past thirty years has won at least once. Along the so-called "sandy golden mile" of the european motocross, all the greatest raced and conquered the glory: from Georges Jobè to Stefan Everts, from the reigning World Champion Antonio Cairoli to David Philippaerts, up to the French rising star Gautier Paulin, whose win of the 2014 Starcross at the beginning of last season started a brilliant 2014, leading team France to the victory of the 66th MXoN on September 28th in Latvia. Furthermore, the Starcross saw the debut of all the best talents of the decade, from Max Nagl, who won in 2007, to Ken Roczen, Jeffrey Herlings, Jordi Tixier, Glen Coldenhoff, and, finally, Brian Hsu. This year the Airoh Starcross is back to basics, after two years, to its original collocation, as a preview of the Motocross World Championship.

"In late February, everyone is eager to see on the track all our champions on the new bikes or in the new teams, and to enjoy the unique show that only Starcross offers, with a three MX1-MX2 main event program on a circuit that enhances the rider's technical qualities. We always keep in touch with all the leading teams, with whom we have many years of friendship and appreciation. The general idea of the teams is to participate with their test-bikes full-equiped for the season, while their other bikes will be shipped in Qatar for the first round of the new world championship season. For the riders it will be a major test on one of the best technical tracks of the world, before the triple intercontinental appointment of the FIM world championship. The Airoh Starcross is a great gathering for the whole environment of the cross circus, and even this year nobody wants to miss it: I do think this will be a very good edition. I thank our partners, the federations and institutions for their attachment to this unique event of the international scene, an appointment that keeps the charm of the most genuine motocross. "

There will be two days of great motocross, with a schedule of practices, MX2 qualifying races and MXGP Superpole on Saturday, while on Sunday, after the warm-up and the spectacular "Airoh 1vs1Cup", will take place the three MXGP-MX2 mixed-class main event that will name the 32nd winner of Starcross.
