Inspirational Speaking with Legends at Cycle Ranch

We are very excited to announce that Friday night, June 20, 2014, Harold Glissen of Only One Inspiration will be delivering a motivational and inspirational speaking engagement in the pavilion of Cycle Ranch – Floresville, Texas. Harold Glissen gated up against the best in the world at his first Pro Supercross race at the Daytona SX in 1998. This may not seem like much until you realize that Harold was born without his left arm below the elbow. Check out the Harold Glissen story in this short video.

Harold will be racing in the Adaptive Class that we’ve added to the racing lineup on Saturday night during the Rally & Race Of Heroes. Joining Harold for the motivational and inspirational speaking will be 5 time, XGames Gold Medalist, “Monster” Mike Schultz. Mike Schultz himself is the developer and first person to wear the Moto Knee as well as owner of BioAdapt Inc. Watch more of the Mike Schultz/Moto Knee story on youtube.

Harold and “Monster” Mike will be joined on the start gate Saturday night and the speaking stage Friday night by 10 other Adaptive Class racers. We are very happy and excited to announce that one of those competitors will be a true Motocross legend, and a 4 time Champion who embodies the meaning of perseverance. Regardless of breaking both arms, then his back, on the same section of the same track and having that section named after him, Doug Henry continued to pursue his passion of motorcycles and racing. He went on to race Supermoto, and even a crash that resulted in partial paralysis could not keep this champion, or shall we say, Legend, out of pursuing his dream of racing motorcycles. With a specially designed motocross bike sponsored by Monster Energy and Yamaha, he is an active competitor in Adaptive Class Motocross Racing and even Snocross racing. This will be an opportunity to interact on an in-person level, with 12 inspiring people, hear their stories of perseverance as told by them and … be inspired.
