DAY ONE IN CORSICA ENDS WITH NO RESULTS DECLARED

2014-05-25 08:15
The FIM World Trials Championship returned to Europe after the first
two 'fly-away' rounds in Australia and Japan making an historic visit
to the island of Corsica. This is the time the championship has
visited the French Island in the near forty year history of the sport.

Glorious weather greeted the riders for the first day of the event
that would see the riders tackle 3 laps of a twelve section course
around the rocky coastal headland of Ile Rousse, on the north of the Island.

Unfortunately all the riders exceeded the time allowance for the
course and in the end no results were declared for day one of the event.

The championship will resume tomorrow on day two of the visit to the island.
