Baja Designs Night Race Confirmed for Ontario EnduroCross

In a tribute to the Baja 1000 and a select few motorcycle endurance events, the arena lights will be turned off for a special Baja Designs night race when the 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross series, presented by Lucas Oil visits the Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario, California on Saturday, September 15th. As a consolation to some of the expert riders that miss the cut for the main event, the Baja Designs crew will mount up their battery powered Double Stryk helmet lights for each rider and throw in a $500 check for the winner.

“The night race is always an awesome show for the spectators so we are excited to have it back for the Ontario, California event” stated Mike Karsting, the VP of events at Source Interlink. “The Baja Designs helmet lights have progressed to the point where they now provide enough light to ride so each rider will use two of those to illuminate their path”.

Just like all EnduroCross events, the pit area is open to the public for free all day and the arena is also open for free during the daytime practice and qualifiers, which get started on Saturday morning. The top 30 Expert riders also do a one at a time Hot Lap during the midafternoon so make a day out of it and check it out in person.
