DIRT BIKE SHOW CUP KICKS OFF

The inaugural Dirt Bike Show Enduro Cup kicked off yesterday on the 4x4 track in the grounds of Stoneleigh Park where the Show is held.

The weather for the racing itself was dry, bright and a little chilly, but the previous night's heavy rain made for wet and boggy track conditions. After a few modifications to the track and race format, racing got underway on time.

After two hours of racing the youth riders returned to the exhibition halls grinning, and plastered in mud.

Enduro3 World Champion David Knight presented the day's winners with their trophies.

Organised by British Youth Enduro (BYE), the Cup caters for riders aged eight to 17 and this first try-out is viewed as a platform for future events at the International Dirt Bike Show.
