TEAM SAN MANUEL YAMAHA'S JOSH HILL TAKES SEVENTH STEWART AIMING FOR HOUSTON RETURN

Moving south, the 2010 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, ran the 12th stop of the series at Jacksonville, Florida's Municipal Stadium. Before a Saturday evening crowd of 38,321, Team San Manuel's Josh Hill finished seventh still remaining third in the overall championship points race with 206 points. Teammate and current Supercross Champion, James Stewart, continues extensive rehabilitation on his right wrist and is hoping to make his return to racing at the Houston stop of the series on April 10th.

Hill ran Heat Race 2 finishing the eight-lap heat fifth for the direct transfer to the Main. In the Main event Hill was fast out of the gate running the first portion of the race with the top 5 riders. At the halfway point, Hill was still running a steady race right up until the very last lap holding onto a seventh place spot and more importantly maintaining valuable points. Hill's 7th place finish, in the 20-lap race, keeps him 3rd in the overall championship race.

Post race Hill had this to say, “It was a rough race for me tonight but I am going to take advantage of this week off and work hard with my team. I can't thank the whole San Manuel Yamaha team enough for all of their hard work and continued awesome support - I am very grateful!”
