Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Shimoda Carries Momentum to Hangtown

Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Jo Shimoda, Austin Forkner and Seth Hammaker head to Northern California this Saturday for Round 2 of the Pro Motocross Championship at Hangtown MX. The normally hot and dry track will get an unusual cool off over the weekend, teeing up a great day of racing for the trio of riders. Cameron McAdoo will be sitting out as he recovers from injuries sustained at Round 1.
Coming off an opening-round podium, Shimoda brings the most momentum into the season's second stop. He had two decent starts that helped him earn third overall but will look to improve this weekend to try and push for an even better result. Forkner will also look to improve his starts in an effort to push the pace up front early in the race. Hammaker on the other hand had his starts dialed and now will look to boost his overall race pace to keep his No. 47 upfront for both motos.

Austin had a below-average result for him and Cameron’s crash in the first moto will put him out until mid-series. Jett has begun riding MX this week again.
