Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Forkner Ready for Penultimate East Region Round in Foxborough

Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Austin Forkner has one round under his belt after sitting out with injury and he’s hungry to get on the podium this weekend at Gilette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The round will serve as the penultimate for the Eastern Regional 250SX class before finishing the season the first weekend of May.
The short time on the bike didn’t seem to bother Forkner as he won his heat race and rode with confidence at his first race back last Saturday in Atlanta. The solid ride has boosted Forkner’s confidence that he’s capable of a podium and will be gunning for that finish this weekend in the Northeast.
“Austin’s heat race in Atlanta was very encouraging. It was the Austin we knew from several seasons ago. He had a little mistake in the main event but overall it was great to see him riding like that again. It was nice to have Jo with us last weekend, but it will be back to just Austin this week in Foxborough.
