The Merzouga Rally is working at the 2015 edition that will take place in Morocco from the 10th to 16th of October. With less than one month to the deadline of the reduced fee, the Rally can count already on 52 vehicles, assistance teams and accompanists enrolled to the race.
EdoMossi, the Promoter, is very satisfied of this result: "We are supported by a number of competitors who have already applied, together with their friends, without knowing the route of the 2015 edition. It’s a great satisfaction and I’m sure the competitors won't be disappointed. For The 2015 edition we have studied new and fun to ride tracks to surprise our competitors”.

The Merzouga Rally aims at simplifying the race and becoming every year more modern. The 6th edition is addressed not only to rally riders, but it becomes attractive also to the enduro and the motocross riders as well.
The prologue will be a “straight line” in the dunes. The road book will be printed on spot, without the need to add the latest modifications and, for 2 stages, the road book will be available 1 hour before the start.
This year the first stage will cover 450 km with 3 different special stages. The rally is also characterized by 2 Le Mans style start and stages will cover two desert areas completely new for the Merzouga Rally.
As usual there will be a Marathon stage in a tented camp in the desert.

Starting from 2015 the Merzouga Rally opens to the cars thanks to the creation of a Test Category reserved to cars. It’s a class without chonometer, studied to test the technical solutions and the reliability of the vehicles in preparation of the great African Marathons.
