As corporate sponsor to both the race and retail divisions of Crescent Motorcycles, Rossetts have supplied a pair of Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport Dualiners, used as crew buses by the Voltcom Crescent Suzuki race team, and two Sprinter Vans, which serve Crescent’s retail stores, but the pride and joy of the partnership is the new Actros tractor cab. The Mercedes Benz Actros 1845 LSnR has a range-topping GigaSpace cab mounted on its low-riding, air-suspended 4x2 chassis. The state-of-the-art 375 kW (510 hp) Euro VI engine, driving through the latest Mercedes PowerShift 3 automated transmission, will escort the Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbikes, and all team equipment to every European round of the World Championship. The Rossetts logo features prominently on the bikes and leathers of racers Laverty and Lowes, as seen in action at Phillip Island in Australia last month, while also appearing on all the supplied vehicles, the team’s pit box and internal workshop.
After securing its debut victory, the Voltcom Crescent Suzuki team travels to Spain to continue its World Championship contention at Aragon on the 13th April, after conducting a private test in Jerez next week.
