Larry Ward won the first 450SX Class race of his career in Seattle in 1990 on a Suzuki. Nine years later, he won the last 450SX Class race of his career in Seattle on a Suzuki. That would be the last race held in the King Dome.

· Ryan Dungey earned the 13th 450SX Class victory of his career
· It was Dungey’s sixth victory on a KTM
· Dungey’s win stopped Ryan Villopoto’s five-race win streak
· Dungey’s gave KTM their first-ever win in Minneapolis
· With Dungey’s teammate Marvin Musquin winning the 250SX Class, KTM now has two event sweeps and is the only brand to accomplish this in 2013
· Villopoto earned his 11th podium of the season with his runner-up finish; it was his third runner-up
· Davi Millsaps earned his ninth podium of the season with a third-place finish
