Is there going to be DG XIII in 9/07?
So... I there going to be one? Would it be around the 15th to the 22nd?
I guess it's be DG13.
For the past three years, I've spent every bit of my vacation time baby sitting the BMR race team. Since the team is sitting out this season, it looks like I might have some spare vacation time.
Any thoughts? Rick? Harry? Chris?

Harry just told me about this thread. I dunno about September, but since I didn't get to go in May, like I have even before a ZX-12R was ever thought of, I will definitely entertain this!!!

I had my bike torn down putting the 10 suspension on and could not make it. I would love a rain date.

Come on, some body run with this idea. Try to put it around the 22nd and 23rd because Maxton is nearby and it will be that weekend. A good two birds with one stone. Watch and support some of the members here and then enjoy the Gap right afterwards.

hey fellas even if you all dont do a DG rally this fall, we need to set dates for the spring, and maybe tie it in with a trackday, I will soooooo be ready for a rally and a trackday when I get home from this place....keep me posted

Well, I guess iy ain't gonna happen for 9/07,
Am gonna try to make the CMRA event at Oak Hill at the end of this month. Just to "pit bitch" and hang with friends. If anything, when you get back, I'll dust off the ole race plastic, load up one of the trailers (either my lil' 5x10 or the BMR trailer) and come down to do a track day with you.

Sherm that woudl be awsome...we have a nice little track just a little over and hour from me, in Demming....and its a great bunch of people....and you know you will always have a place to stay.....

It's just as well because the GAP is completely flooded with the PoPo right now. They're pulling over kids on 10 speed bicycles for speeding..

Any stretch of road with at least one officer for what works out to a average distance of 1,100 yards apart is a "tad overkill". Because of the limited number of locations wher they can park on the 11 miles of TotD, it's more like one for every 500 yards over a 9 mile stretch.
It's estimated that since July 1st, THP and BCSO has spent over 1,600 man hours on that single section of highway.

the Gap has always been overkill with cops. But there are plenty of other roads in that area that are just as good in my opinion, and with far less traffic, espicially POPO....

yeh, and the local county(ies?) have authorized 65,000 taxpayer dollars to further 'enforce' that one lonely stretch of road.
I counted 4 of them before 10am yesterday. One on HWY72 just before you get to 129
2 cars and an SUV (tnhp) on the dragon.
And Ben driving his old blacked out police cruiser. The rat!
Had me fooled.
So the kidlet had his first ride through deal's gap on a bike at 30mph. 
He enjoyed the cherohala though.

cant believe you fuggers....can we set a date in May now? so I can plan my vacation dates around it?
Looks like in the spring dad and I are takeing a roadtrip across the states. Been thinking about the C14 to do it on, depends on the rest of this deployment. But I could point the trip towards the gap to see all you fuggers again....

Fuck the gap! North GA is my new playground. Just as fun with 90% less cops. Hey HDL how are ya? Hope everything is going good. Talked to Kelly a few weeks ago. It was good to here from her. We miss you two! I have been involved in major drama with Sarah, 18 and cant tell her anything. I here ya on the C14, I have beeen thinking of selling my two bikes and buying one. I think I will continue my touring project on my 11 for now. Might change my mind next year. The 12 is for sale though. Keep in touch!!!!!!!!!! Be safe!!!!!!!!
P.S. Finally painted Rogers bike........its not a pickle anymore.

Brett, good to hear from ya man....I should be home around christmas....I am driving, was thinking depending on how much time I get, I wanted to swing through Nashville and see you guys before heading back to TX.
Still not sure if I am going to do the C14....I really want one, but I am going to finish the ZX10 first, putting an Ohlins shock on it, and having the forks gone through. There is a shop in Tuscon that will do it for me. Evan Steele Performance. I have seen some of the work they do, and I like it....Will have them do the work, then when they are at the track they will help me dial it in. Cant wait.
If I can swing the C14 I will. If not, then maybe a good used ZX12 with Heli bars and a throttle meister...I still like the 05's.
whats this 11 I am hearing about?

Oh, this one..........my sport touring project....
I am getting ready to take it apart and do some cosmetics ( no I am not painting the bodywork) and put the GIVI's on. I am painting the wheels black and polishing and powdercoating the exhaust, speigler lines, gsxr six piston calipers, ect. Already has the Twito tune up! I am having so much fun riding this bike! It is SOOOO much more comfortable then the 12, can carry two people (in comfort), the GIVI's hold 4times what the beetle bags will and half the cost.
That sound awesome! We will make time and room for ya! Love to hook up with ya. I will get Karen to cook ya a coming home meal. I will probably still have the 12 so we can even go for a ride if you have time!
I gotta get a pic of Rog's 12 and post it for you. No more pickle....we went with a candy red (not the fake candy on the 2000) much richer and brighter.
Thats what I want to do is get a track bike and finally start pushing it.

I have been dealing with a track in Demming NM lately, thats where I ride, I got introduced to some people that work for this shop,. I have seen some tuneing work and suspension work comming from these guys and its first rate....Evan Steele Performance.
Thats sweet Brett....with bags it will look like a C14....
I do want to see Rogers bike...I bet its sweet....
