H2 production unit #`s I am running out of time maybe. What are you guys thoughts.
Kawasaki must have spent a million or 2 on the h2 line project development. How many units do you think they need to sell to break even.Lets just throw #`s around. Say Kawasaki gets to keep $20,000 out of every h2 they sell.If they sell 25000 bikes for the world that is only 5 million bucks minus the expense of producing the bikes..How in the hell can they tell us we only have 3 months from the time they released info to order. We have one of the biggest motorcycle dealers in the country here in the St.Louis Mo. area. They do not have a single h2 or h2r on order. In 2012 when i bought my 14r in july they sold 400 bikes in june. Thats a fucking lot man.
Don`t you think they have already started making parts for the bikes. They are suppose to start shipping in late January or some shit. The Chicago bike show is February 14th weekend.I plan to go see the h2. Would they really go through all that work to lose money on a few hundred bikes world wide.
Remember in 2000 the zx12r listed for 12000 bucks.They lowered the 2001 12r`s to 11000 bucks msrp

How much profit does a factory race team bring in? It is all about the brand prestige and displaying their technical prowess.

The reason I ask about a link is because that info is not on the KMC site. The model doesn't show in the 2015 lineup and if you punch in the VIN that KMC supplied to the EPA, it draws a blank as well. So I'd be very interested where you got your "H2 Shop Manual" info from.

I got this from a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy etc. This someone emailed me a copy of the manual so I assumed they know what they are talking about. I guess there is always a chance the original person is an insider and it is not officially public yet.

Fine, you got me. I didn't get it from someone who searched for it earlier today on the kawi site and didn't find it but did find it repeating the search several hours later.
I was quoting from a hard copy that mysteriously showed up on my door step one day.
