#13 No real info in this one
Wonder what substantiates the claim of the planetary gear technology coming from jet engines. After all the concept itself is hardly new (cue any auto transmission). Something specific about this setup that makes it special?
quote:#11 (or 12, depending on which release you blieve)
Bike don't sound too grand at idle, but then that's not unusual for race bikes IME. Do quite like the WOT sound though.
I do believe that's Jeremy Toye riding at Autopolis raceway.....Jeremy posted that he had the bike well up over 200 mph and was exceptionally stable, his words were... the wings on the bike WORK....His posting was taken down a few hours later.....I don't think KHI appreciated it.

#14 Suggests some anti-knock tech from Kaw's large engine teams is brought to the H2. Makes sense given the high boost no doubt involved and the comments about the lack of intercooler. The wording is a bit vague though, leaving the possibility that there is nothing novel about this approach. I may just be reading everything like political legalese these days though.

#15 pretty cool seeing the frame being robot welded on a jig but doesn't tell us anything new about the bike.

#16 Another look at the cool (to a nerd like me at least) manufacturing process, focused on the supercharger impeller this time.

#17 Not much in this one, only thing that I don't recall seeing before is engine braking control electronics. As usual, no details on all the KXXX electronics systems. Still have to wait till November for that.

#19 few more nice shots of bits. the choice of cast aluminium wheels seems odd. not particularly in line with the "beyond belief" tagline, unless this is some new casting process that leads to a much lighter wheel that regular cast Al. Certainly points more toward the lower price point theories (on a $60g+ bike I'd like to see magnesium or carbon wheels).
