nice attitude, sometimes things are beyond peoples control. way to be an ass for some FREE tickets.
Nope, not having it. me and two buddies all requested, all three of us got the "free" tickets Monday, the day after the Minneapolis show closed. All three of us in different parts of the metro and different post offices. That's not a mistake, that is a bad process or no process at all.
And truth be told, I would have preferred to go to the show free. While there were a good number of bikes there, unless you were a cruiser rider looking for leather or fuzzy dice and chrome lug nut covers there was NADA! No performance suppliers, except maybe S&S, again for the cruiser crowd.
bash away....
Call uncle Sam - they run the mail sevice, not us. Not our problem. the mail fucked up your tickets, not us.
BTW the only problem in the "process" is that you entered a giveaway and EXPECTED to win regardless. Come on dude... Free is free... If you enter and you win and it works out... great, If not... Try again next year.
Oh... And write your congressman about that delay in the mail... Maybe you can get your mailman shitcanned.

Got the Chicago ticket today!! Thank you very much. Even if they arrived after the show... I would be saying thank you. Air mailed, hand written and sent from Canada... that is more than enough trouble you went through. Maybe the greasy wheel(s) made a point?... not sure but I know that I fortunately received them in time. I even talked my wife into going this year. I will be there on Saturday if anyone else is going. Maybe we could meet at 1pm at the Kawasaki area? Let me know if you are interested. I thought maybe get a picture for Bikeland. If you are interested, E-mail me csb@elknet.net. By the way, I will be paying full price for my wife, but I am NOT complaining. Thanks again Kiwi and Fish... Wish my FREE Bikeland shirt would have arrived in time **hint hint** haha

Went to the Chicago show today, sadly, not impressed! Previous years were better.
But! I did get a pic with Rickey Gadson and chatted for a few minutes!

Compton... great job with the pics! I was going to post some but you got them ALL! It was packed for much of Saturday but in the evening it was a lot better. Rickey Gadson was really a nice guy. I got to talk to him for a long time. He was generous and helpful and was super nice. He didn't have anything bad to say about anyone. (not even 1bad!! haha) The 14 he had there was really set up nice. As you can see in the pictures. It was not over board in any way. As he was talking to some people, one guy asked him if he would pose with the bike for a few pictures. He went right over there, ended a phone call quickly and did the picture. He was real good with autographs also. I have been able to 'meet' a lot of people in my life and many times they are very shallow as if they don't care about you... but he really was sincere. He was excited about the 14 and offered much input. Thanks Rickey! I thought the Smages were good too. They are very down to earth people and they gave a good show(s). Maybe not everyone's thing to watch, but they are talented guys. Overall it was a great time for my wife and I. Thanks Bikeland.

Daytona
The Motorcycle show in Daytona sucked ass. Aside from some new bikes there were maybe 15 other bikes. Paul Jr. had 4, a few Harley board track racers, a couple of ducatis. Apparently it was scaled way back because of the manufacturers at the track.
