I had a 99 Blackbird. It's what I traded in to get the 14. Loved the bike. Solid as a rock, and very fast. It was what the Hayabusa was built to beat. Very comfortable and you can certainly make it into a great sport tourer. Sorry fellas, but Blackbirds should be black.

GunMetal Graybird? Sounds OK to me  Really though, the bike is built like a brick sh#%house, to coin a southern phrase. Unless it has been terribly abused, it should be a good bike for you.
