Got my VFR today well sort of
Hi All,
Well I suspect my tradition will pretty much end today, I brought home a brand new 2009 VFR 800 most likely my last.
My history with the VFR800 goes back to Feb 14, 1998 when I drove home my 1998 VFR800. Playing the stock market I earned enough money to buy a 2000 VFR from Canada in Blue. Then in 2002 I bought the new VFR in black also from Canada and I still have her today.
In 2006 I bought the ZX-14 which I traded even for a Used 2006 VFR . After having a electrical problem I decided to buy a brand new 2007 VFR in Burg with ABS and a year later I bought a used 2007 RWB VFR for 1/2 the price of the new 2007 VFR. Working 85 miles from home and figured I'd ride the Burg VFR until it had about 80K then start riding the RWB VFR full time.
Well when I was laid off a year ago the I wanted to sell one VFR right away but the wife said to wait, see what kind of job you find, maybe I will make more??? Well that did not exactly work out so I decided to trade both 2007's in on one 2009 VFR. I have always had a thing for Black. Seems fitting that I bought the first 800 and now the last. It's been a very good bike to me.

Let me get a couple of good ones Wed, I shot a couple in the Garage but they don't do her justice. I found out today that the bikes I traded are being sent to auction, sort of a sad ending for those great machines.
