I took my VFRF out for another ride this evening and just before I got on the freeway, she hit the 1000 mile mark.
I went to Mulholland where I pretty much had the road to myself.
Camp Avalanche.

Spider, you should be able to increase your mileage with an aftermarket exhaust ( whenever they become available ) and a pc ( again, when they're available ) with a decent map.........I'm sure you knew this and are playing the waiting game for these goods to be on the market  Bike looks good and sparingly comfy as well.

I will never buy a Power Commander again, they are just useless digital jet kits that don't do anything but, take your money and not give you any performance gains.
I am going out on the VFRF in a little while.

Took off hard from the Honda dealer today to let the salesman really hear the exhaust note and had the front wheel float on me from about 9000rpm to the limiter.

Took the VFRF beast up to the Rock Store today and as soon as I got off the bike, they were surrounding her and asking me questions about and complimenting her.
She made me proud.

Just picked up a 2010 left-over 2wks ago.. Got it for $9999. Its been a great bike and super easy to ride.. More miles to come....

Enjoy it, the bike is awesome but, there are a few drawbacks like 1st & 2nd gears being retarded because Honda did not have the traction control fully developed by the time they released the bike to the public for sale.
The 2012 VFR1200F has traction control.

I apreciate all of your posts/threads.. It has helped me figure out a few things... Im still going to the track in New Mexico as soon as I break it in.. Im in Tucson AZ.. Riding all year with this baby..
It replaced a stolen 2007 ZX-10R that I used to teach a military sportbike course with..
