European price announced
The European price for the 1200F has been announced at 14,990 euros.
This compares to 16,650 for the BMW K1300S.
May the speculation for the $US & $CAN begin !!!

There's no such thing as a 'European' price
In The Netherlands we have to pay 17,000 euro for the non-DCT version. My guess is that the Danish have to pay twice that amount. Thanks to our governments.
The States always have about the lowest prices. Lucky you

Sorry Jeroen, I should have been more specific and mentionned that it was the French price which had been published (see links).
However, as a comparison, how much doses the BMW K1300S go for in the Netherlands ?

The K1300S is about 18,000 euro in NL. So the VFR is cheaper

Interesting - that's 2 countries that the 1200F is at least 5% lower in price than the K1300S.

Base price of the K1300S in Australia is about A$26,000. At 5% less the VFR1200 would be $24,700, which is about what the St13 sells for here. If the US privce is around $19,000 the Australian price will have to be near that to compete, particularly since the exchange rate is supposedly in Australia's favour.
