I don't think I have been on that forum in a year or so?
I invite anyone to check my posts there. In fact, I tried to give out some good technical information. I am also still a member of the site, as best I know.

Alright, back on topic..........from what I'm seeing in the vid, is he even foot shifting that Max down the track?? I'm NO straightliner, but vaguely understand how it all works in unison when you're clutching / launching / shifting...........but I swear that his left foot isn't even on the peg when he gets 2nd -- So, do airshifters help cut much time? Or are they more a missed-shift preventative measure? Either way, that guys fuckin' gettin' it!!!
I've always had much respect for the VMax, until I got into sportbike power/handling -- that's the bigger difference isn't it?? That VMax will fucking ROLL!! No doubt about it's brute strength.........afterall, it was the meanest muscle bike back in the mid 80's -- and to survive this long is a feat in itself compaired to all other bike sales figures over the last 25 years...........But...........you can't drop a knee on these things, they outweigh sportbikes by a couple hundred pounds or more, and they're still a rare bike to see ( at least in my area ) like my old '97 YZF1000R Thunderace ( Aerosport )...........but the VMax DOES have loyal fans and owners which I'm certain is what's kept it in production all this time. I love big brute muscle bikes for what they do........M109R, VMax, VTX, VRod, etc...........somebody should shove a punched-out inline ZX14 engine into a VMax with chain drive conversion - that would be one fast VMax!!!

HI SHANE BOBS been working on the ROCKET 3 lately and we will doing some VMAX mods in the future and of course it has loads of potential and Im sure its just a matter of time before the goodies become available in the meantime were having fun with the stocker
