So that article is really talking about bad max? if so I guess when you owe 50 some million you might have to sell your vmax.

Saw Tim and Jay Gleason at the track tonight for test and tune .. Tim had Hacked the ECU Like the Busa guys have been doing for some time ... Tim had a stock 09 Vmax to test with , stock cats , stock mufflers .. Only add ons were a K&N air filter and a M/T drag slick.... First passes With the stock ECU and ran a 9.91 .. Before i forget the air was real good , mid 50s and super low humidty ...Tim switched out the Stock ECU for his hacked ECU .. This was the only change ... With the hacked ECU Tim can speed up the throttle blades, change timing and fuel tables ..Jays best pass with the ECU hacked was 9.59 ...
OK OK it not stock but it sures looks stock but for the drag slick...I think it will run just as fast with a street tire myself , But Tim wanted a slick to rule out any bad info from a spinning tire .. Speeding up the fly by wire throttle really did help get the bike out of the hole..
If he puts a street tire back on the bike can you say sleeper !!!

Yup it works and he said it would be 500 bucks .. If i owned a Vmax this would be the first mod i would do !!! Hell with an ECU flash 9.50s who needs to buy a 1000 exhaust .. Sleeper !!!!

HEY if it makes that much of a difference your gonna see some very fast times should be some very low9s or even som 8s in the near future and the mph improvement is crazy AND I think JON from UFO has one and thats how hes running 8s as hes running a stock engine also

I have to say that's impressive but you put what I consider a normal weight rider on it and even if they 60ft the same as pee wee there going to have a 9.80 to 9.90 bike. still way behind a busa or 14. but it is cool.

HELL YEAH the ECU reflash is good for 3 tenths the REFLASH, a full exhaust ,SLICK,lowered, and some good gas = 8s for us
