More like .63 and 8 mph slower (same day, I believe?), even with though that Vmax had a lighter rider, near 5" more wheelbase and race fuel. Ouch.
This topic is more beat then flies, tires, and oil recommendations all mixed into one..... I think the new vmax is cool. everyone knows its slower mod for mod, dollar for dollar. who cares?
Well, as long as people trump up the poor results it will never reach it's true potential. Obviously Cornell wasn't all that impressed with 9 second ET's either!

You think ? I don't need a slick or custom air intake , race fuel , speed limiter removed ...AND i didn't need to remove 100 pounds of weight to run 8s ..

they would be fine with a dot race tire like your 003, but they don't make them for 18" wheels. Do you know all of their weight savings methods. I bet it's similar to ours, but the vmax is just more portly from the factory.

I'm thinking you could run a C14 as fast or faster than a V-Max. Do all the shit those Max guys have done to a C14 and I DEFINITELY think you would go faster.

I drag race v-rods with AHDRA and local, haven't seen any in the 8's. Actually I have seen a few. One was a destroyer with nitrous. The other two was badrod and that other v-rod that doesn't use bar/slick, shoot out tire etc. But those two are bored out and tricked out big. 1550+, only worth so many passes before they break. I love v-rods and the 14, I have both. The 14 was brocked out etc. My dad and I race v-rods though. We have a destroyer that I have run 9.47/9.48, 1.37-1.40 60' , 138-142 etc. Our other two were regular street v-rods that we made into drag bikes, they have 1320 big bore, bar, slick, 2-step etc. I have run 9.58 before but regularly 60-70's. 154-165 hp. You put that on a zuk or whatever that is 100+lbs less and you run low 9's high 8's. Me on the bike is 720lbs! However the 1320's are reliable and don't break. Hundreds of passes, tire pressure, nitrogen for shifter, adjust launch or clutch and go!

You can clearly hear and see the spray come on .. Motor goes from a bog to OH MY GOD in a flash !!!! ... You can see right when he hits the button , the bike jumps up and smacks the wheely bars hard !! Good thing he had wheely bars .... ____________

Yep, no doubt, but he is claiming "all motor." Even his fellow VMaxers are sayin' it - squirt squirt.
BTW, if you read on their site for about an hour, it looks like he evidently got the money to build this bike by ripping off his buds. There are lots of complaints about the products and total lack of customer service. The biggest is that he sells a $1500 exhaust system with poor fit, leaking welds, and a FAKE carbon fiber can with a "Made in China" sticker still on it! People on that site claim the same can is on ebay for $50.
Don't know if all that is true. Just be thankful we have Brock, Muzzys, Area P, etc.
Course, 1bad will say all his buds are just jealous....................... ____________

haha...... at 1:08.5 that vmax sure seems to jump in power! Sounds like nitrous to me. However, something I've noticed about the vmaxs is that I think their electronic throttle doesn't allow you to go wot fast. I think the computer makes the bike bog, and then it jumps to life. I really don't know, it just seems that way from the vids ive watched.

They haven't shown a closeup of the bike yet so I can't see where he's hiding it but it sure sound like nitrous to me.

Fuck a v-rod. The 109 wil mop it's ass up stock vs. stock. In order to outrun anything with a v-rod you need to do like NHRA did for the halreys and throw their rules out the window while capping the shit out of everyone else.
