SO WEE all the 14 riders are rookies ? WE do have a lotta fun with the MAX and ROCKETS pickin on the GOOBERS on sports bikes as they just dont expect a cruiser to whoop up on em

IMFASTTOO... or is it WERFASTTOO... What are you talking about that videos don't lie??!! (I think FISH disagrees...- I know... off the subject..) Videos can lie as well as deceive. The videos may mask any and all motor work done. Though a video may show the race, it cannot tell what has been done to the bike. Many a drag racer has been DQ'd for violating rules....(as well as WWF NASCAR crews) I have seen videos of import cars running 8's 1/4 mile. It doesn't show the $$ that was in the motor and the Spray. Although I couldn't care less about 1/4 mile times... or which bike is 'faster' in a video... I do believe that every magazine I have read had better posted times on the 14 over the v-max. It appears as though you need attention... and are desprerately seeking it here. I am not sure if you believe what you are typing... but regardless of the fact,, people are aware of reality and choose to live in it. You can love whatever bike (and rider) you wish... but the truth remains, if you take a show room stock 14 and v-max with the same rider on the same track, same day etc... the 14 will win the 1/4 mile race. It does not say anything bad about the max...nor does it really say that the 14 is a better bike. Everyone gives the v-max credit for being a fast bike. Now if you want to talk racing at the track, then the rider and the mods can make the difference for any bike. There is always a better rider that can work magic with any bike. A man named Dick Speed raced my stock gs1150 at Union Grove dragway in 1986 and ran a 10.13. I think (at the time) my best run was 10.75 or so. He beat a lowered, wheelie bar drag bike on that pass. If I still had the video, I could show it and brag that the 1150 could beat a pro stock bike. The truth is, the video was not true because Dick was a pro rider and the other guy was Joe Schmoe with some extra money. Now, please enjoy your friend's success, and open up your eyes.
