World's Fastest Ninja 250
Generation: 88-07
Engine Mods: Aftermarket clutch springs
Upgraded intake and exhaust system, nitrous oxide.
122.4 mph at the Maxton Mile....
....so no....no broken back around here. This was done on essentially a bone stock motor with a low budget. No aftermarket upgraded internals, no hype, just good tuning, good setup and I left some mph in my back pocket in case I needed to dig in. And it did it over and over. And it didn't blow up either. And it will continue to get faster, not some one hit wonder.

My best speeds were in the 111-112 range.
We lowered the bike, freed up the exhaust and intake, dropped weight and added a small shot of nitrous.
Much like my 12, it was setup supersafe meaning a little on the rich side.
To be honest I didn't really feel the hit but based on my RPMs and gearing I knew it was pulling harder.
I've always run a stock motor 250 but this time we put in stiffer clutch springs because of the nitrous.
We are looking to improve upon the speed by a respectable margin next year. This bike was thrown together from a dusty non-runner to a racer in 20 consecutive hours. Big thanks to Owen Garnett at RnR Cycles for working around the clock.
