No way I'd take a hit on my '06 14 by trading up for a new color scheme. You will come out better by purchasing a new set of plastics (even)at dealer prices... Once you get the plastics swapped, sell your old set.
I would Love to have the green, but I can get a quality paint job for less than $1200. I think there were complete sets on e-bay for around $1600---you just tell them which House of Color that you want it painted with.

The colors look good this year for the 14. About time they put the fast green on the 14. The se edition reminds me of the custom 14 bike Rickey Gadson has.

I love the orange and black. I've been looking at the black and red special edition but worried about visibility issues since I had so many people almost run me over on my silver Concourse. Never had that issue on my red ZX-14. Funny, the new red Concourse is very close to the color I painted mine. Kawasaki been reading our forums.

...why not a 450-based motard?....I imagine a 250+ (ahem  ) pounder like me would overwhelm a 250-based motard to maintain freeway speeds on the freeway commute to the twisties, yes?

What is Kawi going to do this year in racing or on the sales floor? AMA/world superbike/motoGP/Motocross, Etc Etc?
I think Yamaha is going to win big regarding sales of all bikes across the board. Maybe Kawi will sell a few, but Yamaha has thrown more money at hiring the fastest riders than can be imagined by one manufacturer. Spies didn't leave Zook & Josh Hayes didn't leave Honda to slow down.
This race season will be interesting, I hope Kawi has a great year!

Steve Bubba is James Stewart. ONe of the best dirt bike riders. Hey and he is Black. Not that it matters but not too many of us "blacks" on the pro circuit.  Wish Rickey Carmicheal didn't quit because he is the only guy that can challenge him and make it a race. Bubba wet undefeated in motocross this season. The only treat to him is hisself.........he can tend to over push the bike and is sometimes tooooo fasttttt for his own good. But he has been maturing and crashing less.

James is the best, and yes - I agree... it's barely a 2 horse race... Chad Reed simply doesnt cut it... Stewart can ride circles around him....
the SX series needs a 3rd star to make it exciting...
WHo knows what will happen this year, but I'll be at Anaheim 1... can't wait.. .hope to see something new!
