07 ZX6R Radiator Damage
Hello everyone,
Last Sunday, I was out on my bike with some friends when I notice the smell of coolant. Thank god my friend took notice of the stream of coolant coming form the radiator, spraying my front wheel and brakes. I don't have to tell you guys what happens when coolant hits your tires. WOW I was lucky.
A closer look revealed that several rocks had hit the radiator puncturing it. I just can believe that Kawasaki does not add a simple guard to a very expensive part. My local Kawasaki dealer quoted me $750.00 for a new one. However, it is fixable and I will be installing a radiator guard as well. If anyone is interested on a radiator guard hit the link below, they are sold by Cox Racing. Great investment if you don't want the headache.

I just ran into the same problem a week ago. I saw mine dripping when I stopped to meet up with friends. Mine is coming from the center about an inch from the bottom. What did you do to fix it? Permanent or temporary fix?
I was going to replace the coolant with water/water wetter but was putting it off for another month and do all my track prep at once anyway. I guess this gives me an excuse to do it now.
