I haven't ever.

You need to get frame sliders on your bike.

I ground down the bolt on my right side during my slow speed crash.

I went to put frame sliders in after my crash and it turns out that they replace the now ground down bolt.

I can't get the bolt out.
The bolt holds my engine in place, so things could have been a lot worse...

I am sure it will come out with a bit of technology - but that is a winter project and for now I am riding it with only one frame slider.

That is what I think but of course TM and I are at odds on it

He says sliders won't help and that there will be plenty of people at the the track with out plastic ....

Frame sliders definitely! I dropped the 6R.... doh! and "almost" no damage to plastic at all. Whew.... would of been a different story without the sliders! I've got Shogun, but there's lots available. I believe worth the investment and ALL the riders that run the canyons here have them (pretty much) ... must be something to it...?
How 'bout keep your bike up

FYI Don't use the aluminum ones, I've seen bikes start sliding on aluminum sliders than flip over for no apparent reason mid slide, as if the slider 'caught' on the pavement. Too high friction with aluminum I guess. Oh yeah, if you got a choice, order whatever sliders have the most material sticking out, because at higher speeds the sliders will wear down REALLY fast and then its your fairings sliding. Saw it in person last week, 50-60 mph lowside on rough pavement, scraped his "carbon" slider flush with the fairings, ruining a few grand worth of fairings and custom paint on his 636. He was bragging last month about 'searching all over for the lowest profile sliders out there' because he believed the plastic was so slippery and hard it couldnt wear down. I hate being right like that.

Even with frame sliders, when you low "slide" at the track at 90 and slide over 100 yards there's not much left of the plastic! Actually, when it sailed off into the desert is where most of the damage occurred, but look at the rear brake lever! It's down to about a 1/2 an inch! LOL

Invest in good gear Girlee friend... the best you can get! Bikes can be replaced

Race body for me, can't get away with street plastics. Tracks such as Daytona and Homestead-Miami International require the full underpan and such
