Soft brake lever?

My Wife's '06 636 has way more lever travel than I think it should have.
I have bled all three bleeders and checked the brake pads ( only has 3000 mi) on bike.
The fluid is full and uncontaminated.
The lever come halfway back before an action and feels soft and mushy.
I am thinking bad master cylinder seal, anybody else have an idea??

ZX-14 has better brakes than an 06 636.

Easy solution... buy a 1098

Orignally when I first started riding my 00 ZX6R, I liked the amount of play with the brakes, as a newer rider - it meant that I wasn't likely to get into trouble grabbing too much brake.
Then after a (half) season - I wanted better preformance.
I changed to braided lines and EBC HH pads - I found that helped.

+1 braided lines are the ONLY way to go unless you enjoy mushy. As little as I use the back brakes I still go braided.

Even the BACK brake of my track bike got a braided line. (sorta' overkill but I use it to preload the front brakes when braking hard)
