ready for new sneekers

i am washing the connie tonight and tomorrow getting roadsmarts.
the stock rear is still on but is used up now around 11,000 miles. i wore out the second front tire along with using up the rear.
sort of good timing.
can not wait for the new tire feeling and handleing.

11,000?
I'm lucky to get 3000. I have been using the Pilot Road 2s which wear better than the Bridgestones. I am going to get Pilot Road 3s next time and then maybe try the Road Smarts after some reports on them.

the front tires only go about 5000mi on mine. the rear was taken off at 10,700.
i am not killing the rear tire. but sport biking it wears the front out. this is the first beast that went two for one being the front. usually the tow for one is the rear twice to one front on other bikes.

Just bought a set of PR3s...the PR2's were great, I got like 8000 miles on em and they could have gone a little longer...I just don't like to skimp on good rubber with my bikes...I'll keep you posted on the 3s as time goes by... ...I completely forgot about how lousy the stock tires were once I put on the PR2's though...I recommend losing those if you have them, it's a different bike with good rubber...

Hopefully they have quit spreading gravel on the roads around here and I can get back to wearing out tires. The next set is PR3s.
