Pairing was very simple and directions sound is clear. There is a little noise before it cuts off after the voice. I still have not tried to hook up the Ipod though. Put a cruise control on and it works fine. Had to move the magnets away from the ABS sensor on the rear wheel,as it was making the ABS go nuts.
My buddy and I are going to ride our O8's to Halifax Nova Scotia in a little over a month. Should be interesting. He lives in Nevada and I in New Mexico. I reaaly like my Concours and with the cruise control it will make the miles easier.

What kind of Cruise Control did you get?
The Zumo 550 hooks up with my J&M really well. The only problem with the Zumo 550 it is not stereo bluetooth and the mp3 playback is shitty quality.

We are using a Global cruise. My bike is ABS and my buddy is not. The only problem we have had is that the ABS model the magnets need to be about half to three quarter inch away from the sensor. My buddy has bee using this unit for a couple years and he has it dialed in. We are running two magnets on the rear wheel installation is not that bad and it works really good. I rode 350 miles with it and it worked great. For me it is nice not having to watch my speed all the time. It's really fun passing people at 80mph without hands on the bars.

I will look at that, a good cruise control would help a lot because my wrists get sore or cramp up sometimes while just droning.

You do need to make some brackets. Ours are with the heated grips and zumo. The rear one is on the bracket for the rear brake. The trick is to only use two magnets. My buddy is really good at figuring at this sort of stuff.

I built this motorcycle from a bare frame in my garage. I have the bracket thing under control.

Thanks,
It was a my old race bike and I have always wanted to make a street bike out of a flat tracker. I finally found an engine that would fit and bought a donor bike.
I built it for bike nights and the like, I was just approached by a professional photographer and a race promoter to have it on display at a national flat track event.

You might consider XM you can always find something to listen to on it and it is countrywide. I usually just make a selection of MP3s out of my favorite stuff.
