so I'm busting the curves in the mountains of KY today and.... I find myself at Loretta Lynn's childhood house! I thought the little signs were BS till I got there

yeah there's more to the mountains of NC/TN/SC/GA/KY/WV than gayness although thats what you always think about.... get your head outa' that gay liberal new yawk city and you'll see things (and ride turns intstead of red lights, traffic jams, and straights)

Steve, you are correct. Those areas are some of the best riding in the country--people fly their rides in from Europe to experience it. Crotch--you need to get off of staten island and long island, there are these things called MOUNTAINS... ...It;s been nearly a decade since I tore up the Blue Ridge on my Blackbird....I am due. T.W.O motorcycle resort is a fond memory as well. There is nothing like that good old southern hospitality after a few cold ones...raw peanuts too!!!

I am envious. I would love to be on a nice road trip.
Simply amazing how much this motorcycle make a trip, comfort, speed, and especially storage.

I'm loading up the connie monday night and heading out to shelter island. Yeah, only 100 miles and on fucking long island at that, but the fishing should be good. 3 days of chasing stripers and blues. I even rented myself a guide with a boat for the day to show me the rips...man I need it bad. The bullshit at work, the end of the semester...I'll take the wind of the LIE with a smile at this point.... ...the following week, tearing it up in New England, no maps, just ride till your shot, then find a nice meal and do it again... ____________
