Long time C-14 owners Got questions for you
How is the suspension holding up?
I toasted the stock stuff on my ZX-14, but wont ride the Connie as hard as long (no track days etc) but knowing Me it will get thrashed in mountain touring.
Any engine mods recommended?
Thinking about carbon fiber slipons for some weight loss and to be rid of the hot cats.
Have the 06 zx-14 stock headers sitting in the shop.
I also ride the lower rpm band heavily, fly removal a good thing on the C-14?

Sorry been busy. I put 33k on my first one and the suspension was just fine. Over 10k on the second and it's handling is just great. Although after about 5k I had to add some rebound.

I have almost 28,000 miles on the bike and it has been awsome. I ride year around sun, rain, snow..... I ride. The bike has been flawless except for the front brake rotors. Mama Kaw has replaced them under warrenty.
Remove the flyies....... Yes makes it a whole new bike. Hold on it will wheelie at hyw speeds.
two brothers pipe, bmc filter and a pcIII. The bike is a beast.
It will put the smack down on most bikes in the street. It is way up on power over almost all of your liter+ bikes in the low and midrange. The gxsr 1000 boys will be loooking at your tail lights on the street, it is not untill you get above 120 before they have a chance.
