installed hand warmers
i installed hand warmers today. it took some time but turned out ok. have to fuss more with grip location for throttle return maybe. it is good now but the grip may move.
i got the type warmer with the 3 wires and no resistors. pulls 3.12 amps on hi.
i used the un wired power socket wires for the heater.

i am thinking on installing a seperat switch for the left heater. it haveing to heat the whole thick bar (even with electric tape on first) does not get real warm. you can feel it but i want it hotter for below 40 deg mornings.

I think I will wait for the 2010 and order the parts for the factory ones.

the moose ones were cheep like 45 bucks i think. multy wire so no resistors to worry about for low heat. but the left bar needs to be on high all the time i think.for this type. the more expencive ones that is the whole grip with ceramic insulation for the heat to stay in the grip would be best.
