Engine Ice?

I was just wondering if Engine Ice or similar product radaitor coolant works to cool the C14 enough to keep the radiator fans off more often?

Tried Engine Ice in my ZX-14. Read a long thorough article in Dirt Bike about coolant and gave it a try.
Didnt make much of a difference but a improvement over what was stock.
Low Tox antifreeze is the same thing.
Just finished a 1500 mile loop with Prestone Low Tox and DEI brand coolant additive(like water wetter)
Worked fine.
The best cooling mod I've done is add a manual switch to the stock fan. I flip the fan on when I hit town or traffic back ups.
Keeps the heat build up way down.
These are hot rod motors that make lots of heat. Get used to it.

I ran Redline in my 06 ZX. There's not enough difference to even justify the time to flush the system and replace with Redline and water...these products are about as useful as tits on a bull, but just cost more...

Engine Ice is used to keep antifreeze off the race track...Antifreeze is almost impossible to clean off at tract....It does not keep the engine cooler....

Look Jenks I hate to bust yer bubble, but read labels.
Engine Ice goes to great detail to say they use propylene glycol and deionized water
Claims protection to 256 degrees
And race day testing showed 50 degree cooler running...,whatever. Their claims.

Prestone Low Tox is propylene glycol and when mixed at 50% protects to 266 degrees.
When I'm moving above 30mph the propylene and additive do seem to stay at 2 bars in 85-90 degree days. A improvement for my bike.
But Preston doesnt have a pretty blue dye and you get twice as much undiluted coolant for half the price.
You just have to get distilled water and mix it yourself.
Now you have 4 times as much.
I got half a jug of Engine Ice sitting on a shelf to remind Me of my gullibility.

To my insensitive fingers propylene glycol feels just as slick as ethylene glycol.
Races use water period. Ok some add a water wetter agent cuz they do work better with straight water than any combo of either coolant type..
