C14 and the tall rider...

Guys, I would like to know how the C14 fits a taller rider. I am 6' 2" with a 34" inseam.
I have an 06 ZX-14 right now that is mercilessly flogged at the drag strip but I want to
get a touring bike with some get up and go. My main concern is riding position as my
lower back is fused and I would like something with a riding position that doesn't
feel like I'm sitting on my tailbone like my 03 Road King (easy with the bashing please :-) ).
Also, passenger comfort. We all know if mama ain't happy...

Thanks for reading.

I have all three of those bikes and am exactly your height. There is much more forward lean than the RK, but less than the ZX, obviously. You should be fine, but I can't tell you that the passenger will be more comfy than on your RK...some are and some aren't. You need to test drive it - and bring your passenger. I can tell you that you're in a much more aggressive riding position on the Connie than on the RK...with none of the upright riding position issues that you have on the RK...and no bone jarring bumps hitting your back like on the RK either.

I'm 6/3 ... no issues with the connie excep tthe stocker screen is too short for me and directs bugs straight into my visor even at the highest setting.... just need a taller screen for taller riders. you'll have no issue with comfort. passenger comfort appeared to suck as they had nowhere to put their feet between my big boots and the hardbags.

Yup, stocker screen has issues, no doubt. I'd have been happier with a fixed screen with no leaks coming from the bottom of it.

Guys, thanks for the replies. I hope someone else can chime in as well. I was fairly certain
that I would be more comfortable on the C14 but wanted to be sure. As far as passenger
comfort goes does anyone else have a reply? Thanks again.

I'm wondering if this purchase was ever made and, if it was, how it all turned out. I'm riding a BMW GSA that I love, but I want a sportier ride again. The seat on my GSA is over 36", so I'm used to a nice long stretch to the pegs. I rode the Connie, and loved it, but the dealer limited my test ride to 10 miles. I'm concerned about how it will feel at 100 to 300 miles -- obviously something you can't learn on the average test ride. (Although I did get to put 475 miles on the BMW K1600GT demo, and it was fantastic...) Any advice on the long-legs-comfort question will be appreciated.
