new corbin seat on bike last night
just put new corbin seat on my connie last night while drinking a bit with friend.
can you believe for all that money one of the bolts was too large? it is like the pre made size was the real finish size and then they cromed it. the die pealed off the crome. that is it.
it looks nice. the passenger ares seems much better for them staying in the seat with out sliding down to me. and the backreast is suprizingly strong. bummer is with rest on pass seat i can not have my rear trunk on nor the trunk mount.
today i will ride it with britt and find out. shame it is real windy now. i hope it calms down after noon.

well i rode it this afternoon with friends daughter. she likes the passenger area and back rest. did not like the mad fast wind gusts .my seat i think is ok. i do not love it yet but nice thing is i do not hate it and you guys say 1000 mi till it is broken in. that will be like 5 to 6 tanks of gas.

I love the shape of a Corbin seat but their foam is made out of concrete. My bony ass is in pain after a hundred miles. I you have your own padding they are great.

i did not make but 80 mi till my ass hurt.i am only 150 lb. my seat may never brake in.

I'm afraid you are going to have the same problem as me. I hope not. But I could never get used to the Corbin concrete foam. I sent the seat back three times for softer foam and reshaping and it came back with a great shape and concrete foam. A park bench is softer.

I had a Corbin Tractor seat on a Bandit 1200 for 30,000 miles....it only got harder with age.
Over rated, over priced and over weight!

Concrete gets harder with age.
