C14 magazine articles?
I'm ashamed to say, I bought this bike without reading a single article about it. I picked out from the capabilities, price, looks, & feel among the sport baggers.
Now, a buddy of mine told me that the C14 was named bike of the year in one of the magazines awhile back.
So, that got me wondering, do any of 'yall know what all magazines had write-ups on the C14? (which mag, month, etc. so I can order back issues).

I now see what a difference a positive magazine write up does for bike sales and why the manufacturers might tend to cater to the magazines. I bought a 2005 ZX12 in 2005 and through 2007 when I traded it for the C14, I could count on my hands and toes how many ZX12s I had seen in the two years. These sitings included all of the riding haunts I frequented in FL including Bike Week and Biketoberfest and Deals Gap. The C14 has only been out 1 1/2 years and at this years Bike Week in Daytona, I had seen more C14s than all the ZX12s I'd ever seen period! Some of these were 2009s as I saw black and red C14s. Says a lot for being named number1 in the magazines. Also explains the success of the Hyabusa. Not saying that the Busa isn't a great bike as I have ridden my share of them from '03 to the new ones, but the ZX12 was a great bike too, in my opinion.

I had a 2000 ZX12 and absolutely loved it. The C14 is IMHO better handling even with the extra weight. I wish it had the top end of the 12.

Fred, I'm not trying to kiss you butt but I totally agree with your statement above, just substitute 2005 for 2000 in my case.

if i would not like dragraceing my 2000 12 this would replace it. and i can carry a soda on it easy also. even keep it cold in a small cooler.
