Seat Height

I currently own an 08 ZX14, an 01 ZRX 1200R, and a 93 ZX11. The second generation Concours is a step up in weight and seat height over my current bikes. The C14 is easy to lift onto the centerstand on the showroom floor. It sits very tall on the centerstand, to where I have to stand on tip-toes to get the bike off the centerstand.

Question for second-generation C14 Owners: How tall are you guys, and how confident are you in moving the bike around the garage, and getting it on/off the centerstand. I'm 5'9", and this confidence issue is the only thing holding me back from adding the Concours to the fleet. Thanks for the feedback!

I am 5' 9", and I have a Sargent low seat on the bike. It makes all the difference in the world as compared to the stocker. I had a Corbin low seat, and it was miserable, even though it was lower it pushed me back and made the bike feel awkward. I've done 500 mile days on the Sargeant (admittedly not all that long) and there is no reason why I couldn;t double that if I chose to.

I'm 5'10" with a 31.5 inch inseam and have no problem with the C14's height. I can flatfoot at stop lights and I always park on the center stand when parked in my garage. I can easily lift her off the centerstand while sitting on her, with the ball of my two feet securely on the ground.

i am 5'7" or so and i have a hard time getting it on the center stand. but i get it. i only way 155 lb so the heavier guys have a eaiser time. but i am ok with the big bike now. i do not center stand it unless changing the oil and rear oil. you will get use to it and deal with it. to get it off the stand i either push it off beside it or sit on it and rock my self front fast agenst the bars and then put my feet down. either way you do it it will come off balanced center if you are on a level floor.
i lowered my zx12 and this is verry different. was even thinking of lowering it. but i am ok now with it. i am a bit more carefull looking on it if you see me ride it.i do not care. the bike is a dream. and when the gf gets on the back it gets a bit lower and it is eaiser with two.

I am barely 5'9 and was worried about the height issue on the first few rides but I've been on it for about 2 weeks now and feel great.
I got a pair of logger boots with a big 3' heel and they make a huge difference. I wear them when my wife is on board so I feel better at stops.
its not a worry anymore for me.
