Then go get your lost 15 hp and gobs more torque down low. The thing is, the mods make daily driving soooo much better because they help most in the "normal" rpm's we see. You do not need as many rpm's to do what you have to do now, and no more waiting for the power to come from the rubber band type throttle, it is there instantly when you need it.
Kawi did it on purpose, to smooth out power delivery. We have fuel injection, not c-v carbs! For most of us, I think we want our fuel injection back, and now you can!
