I'm 6 foot with long arms and still wanted to install handlebar risers on it to get an upright ride. The windshield does not completely protect me full up, but there are plenty of aftermarket options. Also, I'm just perfectly flat footed at a stop. Not sure how anyone shorter can do it. It's not a small bike by any means.

Hey Cransell, I am 6'7" with a 34 inch inseam. The C14 fits me better than any other bike I've owned or sat on. I am putting a set of hanlde bar risers on to sit me up a little and will most likely throw a corbin on for better long haul, 2 up comfort. The wind shield is an intresting question answerd best by where your comming from. Sport riders love the extra wind protection and ease of an electric adjustment where as the Crusier/touring guys put a + 2-3-4-5-6-7 inch screen on to give them the bay window look and feel. In colder or rainy weather I can certainly see the benefit of an extra 7 inches of protection. Good luck.

I am 6' with a 32" inseam and this bikes fits me better than any other bike. The seat takes some getting used to and is very comfortable on long rides and I find the reach to the handlebars just right. I like to scoot back to the curve in the seat and lean forward on the bars to get excellent input to my hands when tearing up the twisties. This bike gives excellent feedback to the hands and feet to assist is reading you, the bike and the road and dial in what this bike was designed to do - sport riding- windshield is perfect and power is phenomenal. Once you try it, you'll never go back.

6'5", 270lb - 34" inseam and the bike fits me VERY well.
Donnbauer was right on the mark: Those used to riding behind a "barndoor sized" shield will seek the largest screen available (I bought the +6 CalSci, and even IT requires I crouch down a bit for the quiet I was used to from my Valkyrie)---- reportedly, the Cee Bailey's Ultra is a bit better in that regard, but I've yet to test...
I also own the tall Kawasaki screen, but prefer the CalSci overall.
Two up, this bike excels. Plenty of torque and a very tunable suspension.
Also the saddle is large enough to accept my jumbo frame while still allowing enough room for my (petite) 5'6" girl to fidget without pushing me up over the tank.
Brakes are first rate-- I bought the ABS and would buy this option again even at twice the premium..
After a rocky start with "tire pressure sensor issues" (Which Kawasaki fixed under warranty) I'm very much convinced I made the right choice.
Pretty sure you won't feel cramped on THIS Sport-Tourer...

I'm 6'5" and 290 pounds. I've had my C14 since March and already have 7000 miles on it. I live in Florida and recently took a little trip to the Texas Hill Country. Before I went to Texas I did install Cee-Bailey's tallest wind screen, which is perfect for me. I can still lower it enough to get some cool wind on those hot Texas days, and all the way up to keep the Florida bugs out of my teeth. I have not replaced the seat, nor do I intend to. I've done a 850 mile day without a problem. I did install some handlebar risers, and do recommend them. I am currenty preparing for a 10000 mile trip in June and July. I stiil have the original ties, but will replace them with a set Continental Road Attacks just before I leave. I'll let you know how they perform, and how long they last.
You won't sorry if you get a C-14....they're smooth, and oh so fast.
