If Kawasaki could find a way to make the low fuel reserve alarm be adjustable then we could consider it a longer range. Mine appears to come on with 1.5 gallons remaining and could live with a closer empty before alarming CONTINUOUSLY "Low Fuel". Perhaps all this is the result of inaccurate fuel gages. Hasn't anybody found a way to make the darn things more accurate? It is afterall an alarm only that appears to be over-conservative. Then maybe the C14 won't look like a milage hog to the reviewers, that is probably no worse than the others compared.

1.5 gallons is worth about 50-55 miles, so the reserve light is about right where it should be; after all, you wouldn't want it coming on at 20 miles now, would ya?
