Texas Hill Country Ride.
I really wish all you cold weather prisoners (or ANY C-14 rider) could be here for this. I just spent the day riding what I consider some of, if not the best motorcycle roads available. Texas rts 335 336 and 337 and some others in the Kerrville area are awesome. I rode thru miles and miles of tight twisties, hairpin turns, roller coaster like verticals, +100 mph sweepers and clear flat out straights with no dull spots in between.The roads were in great shape with nothing to scare you except yourself and virtually no traffic. Even the back roads from Houston were good. No interstate highways at all this time. The weather's been in the mid 60' to 70's and lots of sunshine. I've logged about 750 miles so far (all daylight) in the last two days and will pull another 3-4 hundred by time I get home tomorrow. It just doesn't get any better than this and the C-14 is without a doubt THE best bike for this kind of action packed long-haul ride. I'm going to try and do this same trip at least once a month until summertime when those hills get just too damn hot to enjoy.

wish I was closer to that area Worm....I use to love that area to ride in. Havent been there in over 10 years. Last time I was riding there was on a Kanatuna 600....lol
Its a bit far now as I am in Hell Paso. Maybe this spring I will take a long weekend and ride over there again. Then down to SA to visit some friends.

Well let me know when you're coming and maybe I can meet up with you there. And that goes for anyone (except Arthur) who wants to ride there or anywhere within say a 500-mile range of Houston where there are good bike roads. It's always fun to drink and swap stories after a ride.
