wormgear, I just read your post over there and all i have to say is you are a dick. 1200 mile trip? What I would give to go with you. A foot of farkling snow here and all roads out. Not to mention tons of gravel, sand, and salt littering all roads.

What do ya want? I'll never get the chance to build a snowman and that's a hard rowtohoe. Actually I grew up in Illinois and I don't miss that shit at all. Salt is for food not roads.
I might catch a little rain on the way there, but I think I can handle it. I've got the spot where I killed the first C-14 marked on the GPS so I'll probably stop there and have a little memorial service.
I sat out of that dickweeds comments as long as I could, Jeez what a douche bag.

I'm on my BB so it's a bit slow to go check out Arthur the troll's threat at the other site. I thought Elvin didn't tolerate that kinda shit over ther Ted. BTW, just got back from CES -- was damn cold there, but no snow --

EDIT: Well, I just read the thread. What a fucking moron -- and unlike me, when he pissed off the entire board, he really did look bad.:d.
I need to think up a good nickname for AK now....well, I'll sleep on it and come up with soemthing really suiting.

So Vegas was cold? Oh well. Hope you had a good time. I would have liked to have gone and my company would have happily paid for me. But I have a deadline from hell and can't take the time.

There were a few cool things -- but nothing that exciting. I did find a GPS datalogger that was 1" * 1" and was about $60.00 wholesale. Tracks for 30 days and downloads via USB or bluetooth. Really cool product, using Google earth to show you were you've been as well as speed at any given point. Cheap alternative to a full nav GPS. Also found a 4-tire TPMS system for under $200.00 retail with LCD display and 30-second read intervals. The valve stems are totally anti-theft and are easily replaceable at a cost of $30.00 each. Would work perfectly for any bike as well as any car/light truck. So I have to wonder why Kawasaki would charge over $200.00 for a sensor...it also had HUD option for 5 bucks more.
OLED is coming up strong -- tons of OLED remotes and TV's coming to market now, with touch screen as well.

I have the TPMS in the C6 Vette and my old C5 had them also, you do need them for run flats. I like them. I think Kawasaki probably just used what Mitsubishi offered, I saw on the news about the OLED super thin displays. As for touch screens, my industry relies heavily on them and has for many years. I heard the OLEDs had a longevity problem especially the blue segments. We have been looking at them for a while now. Maybe they have it cured. The Vette also uses OLEDs in the dash.
