OT - Starbucks "cut" my drink...
So... I go to Starbucks and buckling to marketing, order an Eggnog Latte ... I get my drink and it tastes like shit... no flavor... it's basically hot water.. I go back inside an tell the Barista that my drink has no flavor - it doesnt even taste like Eggnogg. She tells me... "Oh, maybe it's because I cut the Eggnog"
Cut the eggnog? Curious, I ask WTF she's talking about. She holds a jug of eggnog infront of me and tells me that she just finished watering down the eggnog... she's made like 10 gallons of "cut" eggnog out of 1 gallon of eggnog. (pointing at all her "cut" eggnog containers.)
She suggests to me that she could make me an "Eggnog" latte with "Eggnog" if that's what I wanted.
Rolling my eyes, I told her that I thought that that's what I'd ordered!!!!
She then told me that this was Starbucks policy! Anyone know if this is policy, or bullshit???

Yup, Starbucks has the shittiest tasting coffee, if you wanna call it that...so I ain't surprised that you got some neutered Eggnog either...and you got fucked anyway, paying fye dollas fer a 10 cent Waternog.
There's a reason I call it "Starfucks"
FWIW -- did they use water or milk to "cut" it?

their stock stock (ticker SBUX) hasn't done so well, maybe they are cutting some real corners because they can't afford full egg-nogg

The ONLY thing I drink from Starbucks is their House Blend regular coffee. No latte crap or anything like that. AND...usually I just get it at Costco (under their Kirkland name) and make it at home. I have been to some mom-and-pop coffee shops and they have much better high-end coffee drinks.
Just my opinion!!!
