Any chance of making this work (HEY FBA!!!)
Any chance of making the stock ZX14 exhaust fit a C14 if I removed the centerstand? I seem to remember that a main problem someone noticed when comparing the pipes was that the center stand on the concours was in the way. I have a bike lift so don't really need the center stand, and can find used ZX14 duals for way less than the $1200-1500 estimated for the muzzy's. Anyone have an idea of whether the ZX14 pipes have any chance of fitting the concours?
Hey FBA you've got both bikes, get out there and take a look! I can fab up some brackets for the left side pipe, etc, just need to know if there's clearance for the header before I drop a few hundred on the used parts. I think the right side pipe fits with a factory C14 header, I seem to remember someone bolting up a stock ZX14 mid and can.....

I've got a stock ZX14 exhaust sitting on my garage floor. And no longer have a ZX14. Let me know if you want it for a steal price, its just clutter I need to get rid of.

I am going to give it a go on mine soon. Dont think you will have to lose the center stand. When I got my ZX14 nothing was available for exhaust, Had it 12 hours and bandsawed off the stock cans for the midpipes. I recycled a set of D&Ds I had in the shop. Later I put on Brocks Smeg, and when I got the C14 I used the ZX right side mid pipe and recycled one of the D&Ds again. Bolted right up and even the center stand bumper was in the tight place. Got me thinking that the whole thing would probably work fine. Just havent got arontuit yet.

For anyone reading this post, ZX14 duals work on the C14. Some minor tweaking needed but it works.
