First ride in the wet.
Well today it has been pissing rain all day which is unusual for Reno. Anyway I decided to give the bike a try in the wet, so I put on my new Tour Master Flex jacket, waterproof Alpine star boots and gloves, and the Icon Barrier pants. And headed south on 395, It was coming down big time and the cars were spraying lots of water. But all in all I stayed basically comfortable. The bike shielded me pretty well, I could have used more heat from the engine but fixing the foam makes the bike almost too cool. There was a bit of water hitting my hands especially with the shield up so waterproof gloves are a must.
I am not used to riding in the rain, I have been riding sport bikes for so many years and as we all well know they don't like rain.
Anyway I forgot my Metzeler finger ring shield wiper, and most of all I needed some sort of anti fog for the shield. When I slowed my shield fogged heavily.
At least a ride in the rain (as long as you are moving) is not a horrible experience at all. The Bridgestone 021s will hydroplane, But all in all I can't wait to take a nice long trip on this thing. Because I just love riding motorcycles and this thing opens up so many more places to go. And if it rains the world isn't going to come to an end.

The rain doesn't scare me, in fact, back when I did my MSF course, it was in the rain. It just the first twenty minutes you need to watch out for anyways.

Is your C14 an ABS model...If so how the bakes work in the rain.....

Nope. sorry mine is a non ABS model.
