Comparison to the BMW K1200GT
Before the C14 came out, I was trying to figure out how I would be able to somehow talk my wife into allowing me to buy a new BMW G1200GT for $23k OTD (I live in CA).
Price of the C14 is a heck of a lot cheaper ($15k OTD for ABS), so aside from the price difference, what about a bike to bike comparison?

c-14 mo better and I know nothing about the BMW

As of today in the sport tourer market the C14 is the best handling, has the best suspension, most unobtrusive shaft, the best brakes, best performing, arguably smoothest bike out there. It doesn't have all the adjustments of some of the others, but once you get it dialed in no need to adjust any more. And I failed to mention the easiest to use big bags out there.

It is smooth. I'd say the shaft is, remarkably, totally unobtrusive; I never thought I'd want a bike with one before. The suspension damping is firmer than any of the competition I've tried, which is important (on the other bikes, I've wanted compression damping adjustment).
For me, the K12 lacks any hint of a soul.
