With stochometric for gasoline being 14.7:1 air/fuel and the prevalence of alcohol (6.5 air/fuel) in todays gasoline, I'd shoot for 13.5 to 14.0. You could go leaner but I still like a LITTLE fuel cooling in there.

So these flies and the screws that hold them in......Can I hold them with a magnet as I remove them?

DO NOT TOUCH the throttle and all you'll need is a good magnetic #2 phillips screwdriver to remove them . . . and a PC3 with the appropriate map.

What Stalwart means by don't touch the throttle is by leaving it closed you can't lose the parts down in the motor.

Oh ya -- I've seen some guys drop the screw right down the freakin' intake...Duhhhhh. Somebody had suggested taping the throttle shut for this "surgery" so for those with two left thumbs, that might be a good idea.

Why is the throttle even being touched when working with the secondaries? Or is the motion of pushing down on the screws to unscrew them opens them up?
It would seem that if you use the proper size screw driver (even if not magnetic) to loosen, then use a magnetic to fully remove the screws, you should be ok.
How much effort is required to break the screws loose? Did they use lock-tite on them?

Ya need a long philips to do it. They're torqued down pretty good, but the real issue, is that most guys try this with a shitty little screwdriver and strip the screw. They're deceiving, as they're small but tight. There's no logical reason you'd touch the throttle, unless ya drop the fucking screw in there...LOL

Well I'll be using a good long screwdriver, a magnet and I'll lock the throttle closed with my throttlemister. That oughta work.
