Aside from looks, how does the pipe change the hp/torque characteristics of the bike?
Have you had the bike dyno'd before/after? Any fuel reprogramming done or it's still using stock maps? What does muzzy recommend with this pipe?
I notice a slight irregularity around 3500 rpm on mine (perhaps its a resonance rpm) with the stock setup.

Because my goal from the start was "TO GET RID OF THE UGLY CAN" I never bothered to check on the performance side of the change. The bike has a ton of HP and Torque so betting more was of no concern. I am sure there are gains but I never had the bike dyno'd before or after so I don't have numbers. Stock maps for sure. I know for sure I didn't lose anything and it is still very smooth and even on the power curve, I may have even gained something.

It looks great! Do you know how much weight you saved?

Saved alot of weight. As I didn't have scale to weight the original system my educated guess is I went from a 20 to 25 pound muffler down to about 6 or 7 pounds.

That weight saving is more important than any potential HP gain on this bike. IMO.

Well there is a significant savings in weight for sure. All I know is when I removed the original system it seemed quite a bit heavier than the aftermarket. Generally this is the case with most aftermarket exhausts.

Now, if I could lose 20 lbs around my gut.
