I am 47 and whereas in my 20's not getting laid was life threatening, now not riding has the replaced priority. LOL Women do not like losing their power. LOL

I'm 26 and I got tired of getting beat up on the street with a sportbike.
I'm looking for a project track bike but for now I think I'm stuck on staying with sport touring bikes.

I ride a few different bikes, Duel sport, ST and dirt..... I need a fast, reliable, smooth,quiet, kick ass ride with bags for trans con touring..... This is my weapon of choice..... Oh yeah, I am 46 and been riding since I was 8......

I am really enjoying motorcycling again with this bike. I don't have to go fast to have fun. Caught in traffic, comfort takes the edge off. The good part is when you run across a spot where you able to go fast you can really rip on this thing.
Today I saw a guy riding a sport bike get taken away in handcuffs and his bike towed. I suspect the cop saw him do a wheelie. That could be me, and the urge to wheelie this thing on the on/off ramps is not that great.

Did I tell you guys how much I LOVE riding this thing. I have been riding for over 25 years and have had MANY MANY different bikes. I haver a custom cruiser which was my primary bike... not now. This by far is my favorite, it has become my sons favorite to. It's addicting, I don't want to get off of it. Now if I can only make it as comfortable as my cruiser for my wife, she complains she gets beaten up by the wind on the back.

Crap ! It looks like I'm the oldest! I'll be 61 in 2 days. Right now sitting home recovering from back surgery (it's a bitch getting old) comtemplating when I am going to get my new ride (sometime in the spring I should be good to go). Its been abt a month since I sold my GL1800 and the 1st time in 40 years without a bike. . . . I have had Kawi's before including a 550. 750 and 1100. I'm ready !

Man 40 years and now no ride.... I thought I lost my mind when I went without for 4 years. Every summer would roll by and I got these wicked neck cramps from whipping my head around at the sound of a motorcycle going by. It was hell........

lol - well actually its about 43 years. One thing that helps get to this age is patience. I do miss my long annual rides tho. They had been getting longer every year - last year was a solo shot from Connecticut to Alaska. I'll do that one again! Starting a Farkle want list already!

That makes me want one even more. My ZX-14 is fine for touring but the urge to go fast is overwhelming sometimes. Not sure how I haven't got a ticket yet. I think a couple of them just figured it wasn't worth the trouble. I'm pretty careful about when and where I go fast, never do it in traffic, but it's going to catch up with me eventually. The ZX-14 doesn't have much of a radar signature either. The signs on the side of the road usually pick up the car behind me. Got pulled over for doing a wheelie recently. I didn't get it up much so the cop let me go. Said i was doing 75 in a 55 too but he was too far back to really pace me until I had slowed down.

I feel 40 I think. I really can't remember what earlier ages feel like. All I know is I can't run the mile in 4m57s any more. But I've been riding since '57. At 61+ riding is still a pleasure and after dumping (selling) my '05 Goldwing and getting on the '08 C14 it's brought the zing back into biking. When I passed a Vette the other day turning off a main drag and broke the rear wheel loose I was really shocked how much power this thing has. And I haven't really cranked it yet. 4500PRM tops so far.

Not so fast young grasshopper. 68 here and running the crap out of my ZX14, actually bought it for an Express Sport Tourer, but have decided to buy a C14 for that and keep the ZX for my Hooligan bike. Also have a couple of Honda Valkyries, and they have been getting little use lately. Once the C14 is in house I may have to get rid of at least one of them. Hmmmmm decisions, decisons, what is a guy to do????

All I got to say guys is hen I get your ages I am still that spry. I am 45 and still kicking very strong. can still compete with 20 year olds. Coudos to you old buzzards.

43 and love this bike. Have a Warrior that was my only bike, but I think it is a goner now. I'm not very squidly at all but I do like a good road with lots of twisties!

Blows me away that guys in their late 60's are riding ZX14's!! I love it...I wanna be riding SS at 70+ too! I'm 50.and I have a buddy at 80 who does solo rides from the east to the west coast every year in his wing -- and still goin' strong! I get my C14 tomorrow and can't wait, since I've heard so many great things about this beast! So now I'll have the ZX and the C.

I havent picked mine up yet, as I am still over here in the desert. But its on the list of things to pick up as soon as I get home. I will have to see how my money situation is once I get my apartment and see how I am with bills. One thing is certain, I will NOT be getting rid of the ZX10. It will be both or just the ZX.....lol
I may have to add Heli-bars to the ZX10 and pick up some bags .....lmao
